Impian Kite Impian, named after the Malaysian word for “dream”, is Malaysia’s largest hand-made inflatable kite. Since 2004, it has been listed as such in Malaysia’s Book of Records, measuring . The kite was made by a group of friends at Taman Kota Laksamana, reclaimed land now called Impian Kite Flying Field in Melaka. Unable to buy a super-sized kite, this group sewed one themselves using a small automatic Singer sewing machine. Today Team Impian is a kite flying group at Kota Laksamana.
